WAYS OF BEING, 2018

Ways of Being was my forth solo exhibition held at the Alliance Francaise in  New Delhi. The body of work challenged  the process of creation as a form of healing and release. For over two years, the art was created was heavily inspired by psychotherapy. I used insightful and behavioural psychotherapy and created  psychologically layered mindscapes that were abstract in nature.

HUES AND CLUES, 2017

Hues and Clues was the name of my third solo show at Gallery Articulate, New Delhi. Heavily inspired by the phenomena of
music and the manner in which it lights up all areas of the
brain, the works used an all-over aesthetic to convey an amalgamation of emotions that seeked for the viewer to push the boundaries of perception. The work explored themes of nostalgia, spirituality and psychology and their open-ended nature encouraged one to trace clues, conjure up narratives and marvel at coincidences in all its possibility.

ZYGONTHIA, 2015

Zygonthia was the name of my second solo show at The Stainless, New Delhi. Zygonthia is not really a word. I made it up using two words ‘Zygon’ and ‘Thia’.  If you were to google Zygon you would get:
*The shape changing humanoids in the British television science fiction series Dr. Who

*The name of an exotic orchid ‘Zygonesia’
*A concept in music theory which connects chords, notes lyrics via repetition and imitation to create a catchy tune..and finally ‘Thia’ which means Divine in Greek.
The nature of the show was All Abstract and open ended

SALMAGUNDI, 2013

Salmagundi was the name of my first solo art show at Wonderwall at Lado Sarai, New Delhi. Salmagundi is a salad dish originating in the early 17th century in England, comprising of cooked meats, seafood, vegetables, fruit, leaves, nuts and flowers and dressed with oil, vinegar and spices. Just like the dish, the exhibition was a potpourri of work done over two years from 2011 to 2013.From Iguana's on bikes to Swimming Skeletons, from Dreaming Zebras to alternative video art, the exhibition was an extension of eclectic inspirations.
